Hydrogen

Hydrogen is being touted as an important new energy vector to help decarbonize heavy industry as well as provide fuels for aviation and other forms of heavy transport. This small molecule can either be transported and stored under high pressure at near room temperatures or cooled to 20 Kelvin for storage under cryogenic conditions.

Ultima Forma has patented technology for electrodeposited hydrogen barriers that can be formed into very thin liners for high-pressure hydrogen storage tanks, or with lower cost containment where storage pressures are lower.

Waveguides can be used on anything from ground based communication towers to communication satellites.

The waveguides being developed at Ultima Forma utilise advanced electroforming manufacturing technology to produce very lightweight flexible waveguides.

We currently have active projects in the Ka-band and Q/V band range.
