Ultima Forma has achieved AS9100 certification, the internationally recognised quality management standard for the aerospace industry.
- Internationally recognised aerospace quality management certification
- Demonstrates Ultima Forma's commitment to delivering the highest standards of quality, consistency and continuous improvement
- Milestone comes ahead of the Farnborough International Airshow 2026
The certification covers the design, development, manufacture and supply of electroformed components for the aerospace, defence, energy and other industrial sectors, reflecting Ultima Forma's capability to support customers from concept through to production.
AS9100 builds on the company's commitment to delivering innovative electroformed solutions that enable lightweight, seamless and high-performance metal structures for demanding applications. By implementing the rigorous quality management processes required by the standard, Ultima Forma is further strengthening its ability to support customers operating in highly regulated industries where quality, traceability and continuous improvement are essential.
The milestone comes as Ultima Forma prepares to exhibit at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026, where the company will showcase how its patented electroforming technology is enabling next-generation aerospace and defence applications, including lightweight structural components, hydrogen containment systems, precision erosion protection and net-shaped manufacturing solutions.
Sai Vinay, Principal Manufacturing & Quality Engineer, said:
"Achieving AS9100 certification reinforces our capability to meet the quality management requirements expected by Tier 1 aerospace and defence customers and strengthens our position as a trusted technology partner within the aerospace supply chain. Combined with our electroforming and smart manufacturing capabilities, this provides a distinctive capability within the UK aerospace manufacturing landscape."
